Nightwing #9

Oh boy, it's time to take a trip to the DCU... Let's see if the Night of the Owls stuff can continue giving us strong issues from this series.

Nightwing #9:

Story Points:
-Nightwing gets the pleasure of battling against the Talon that was his ancestor.
-We know this because the Talon continues to tell Dick that he was ashamed of him.
-The Talon(who's rather chatty) tells Dick his secret origin and explains how he became the “strongest” of the Talons.
-Dick manages to save the mayor and outsmart and defeat the Talon... Probably while the Talon was talking...

Thoughts: Well, this issue WAS better than the issues of Nightwing from before the Night of Owls stuff. But it wasn't great or anything. It was, pretty much, a one and done issue that did a number on Dick's origin... From the way this issue tells it, Dick's ancestors were born into money, but his evil Talon ancestor took a baby Grayson from his cushy home and gave him to circus folk... Or something like that. Meh. I'll just ignore all that and say this was an okay issue.
